Forum on the Construction of First-Class Accounting Undergraduate Major and the Third Annual Forum of National Accounting Academic Leading T

On May 19 to 20, to fully implement the 20th Party Congress report on the trinity overall development,education, science and technology, to empower our accounting department to actively response to economic and social, technology and industrial changes, the School of Management and Economics held “Forum on the Construction of First-Class Accounting Undergraduate Major and the Third Annual Forum of National Accounting Academic Leading Talents of the Ministry of Finance” on zhongguancun campus. The forum specially invited a number of experts and scholars from top financial and economic universities and well-known enterprises to focus on cutting-edge topics such as intelligent accounting big data sharing ecology to carry out exchanges and discussions.

Guests attending the seminar included: Liu Guoqiang, Deputy secretary-general of China Accounting Society, Professor Wu Chaopeng, Dean of Xiamen University Management School, Professor Jin Qinglu, Dean of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics Accounting School, and the Ministry of Finance national accounting academic leading talents students. The internal guests included: Qin Zhihui, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission of Beijing Institute of Technology, Professor Wang Zhaohua, Dean of the School of Management and Economics, Professor Yan Zhijun, Secretary of the Party Committee, and Professor Wang Shuliang, Executive Director of the Institute of E-Government of Beijing Institute of Technology. The opening ceremony was presided over by Dean Wang Zhaohua.

Secretary Yan Zhijun made a concluding speech and thanked the experts and scholars from the academia and industry for bringing various wonderful reports and heated discussions. This forum provides rich theoretical support and practical experience for further promoting the talent training and education and teaching reform of the School.
