Recently, the China Coal Society has officially announced the winners of the 2022 Coal Youth Science and Technology Award. Associate Professor Shen Meng won the honorary title of "Coal Youth Science and Technology Award".
Dr. Meng Shen, PhD, Associate Professor, Special Researcher, doctoral supervisor; Assistant Director of the Center for Energy and Environmental Policy, and Deputy Secretary General of Beijing Operations Research Society. He was a postdoctoral fellow in the School of Design and the Environment, National University of Singapore. His main research interests include smart energy management, behavioral economics, building energy efficiency, energy and environmental policy, environmental psychology, etc. He presided over the Natural Science Foundation of China general project and the Youth Science Foundation project. He published more than 20 papers in the Energy Economics, Renewable and Sustainable Energy Reviews, Energy Policy and other domestic and international academic journals. The paper published in the SSCI / SCI journal Energy Policy was reported by Nature Energy as research highlights. He has published the monograph "Smart Energy", and has been granted two invention patents.
The Coal Youth Science and Technology Award was set up by the China Coal Society approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology national science and technology award work office, to cultivate young science and technology innovation role models, encourage outstanding youth who have made outstanding contributions in coal science and technology progress, unite and lead young coal science and technology workers in the innovation and challenging endeavour of building our country into a science and technology power.
