On May 1, 2017, at 6:00 pm, the "May 4th Spirit" learning exchange and the third youth league leaders training session was held in the Lecture Hall of the Comprehensive BLD. More than 120 student leaders of the School of Management and Economics participated in the exchange.
First of all, the host led the students to recall together the May 4th wind and thunder 98 years ago that shocked the Chinese land. The enthusiasm of this patriotic movement ignited the torch to explore the new way of saving the nation, breaking the chaos of social thoughts, stirred up the wave of anti-imperialist and anti-feudalism, opened the prelude of the new democratic revolution. The May Fourth Movement, with patriotism as the source, with democracy and science as the core of the "May Fourth Spirit", ignited as fire generation after generation of young people, and inspired them to pursue progress and light to achieve national prosperity, national rejuvenation and people's happiness.
