On September 1, 2017, the School of Management and Economics held a work meeting on quality of graduate education in the main building 241. Over 100 staff including the school leaders, the department heads and entire teachers attended the meeting. The meeting was hosted by Dean Wei Yiming.
Secretary Wang ZhaoHua first conveyed "Beijing Institute of Technology Committee Notification on the Investigation and Rectification", and asked the teachers to actively cooperate with the recent supervision work.
Vice Dean Tang Baojun introduced the main content and spirit of the graduate training work meeting recently held, and put forward the problems of cultivating quality postgraduate students in our institute, as well as the future postgraduate quality work focuses and specific requirements.
Dean Wei Yiming stressed that despite of the graduate students enrollment expansion, we need to ensure the quality of graduate training, and make predictions for doctoral students as early as in the admission process to ensure students’ academic level.
