From October 6 to October 13, 2017, Professor Wang Xuefeng and master students Chen Yun, Zhang Jiao, Liao Qingyun and Wan Wan from the Knowledge Management and Data Analysis Laboratory, invited by Prof. Alan Porter, President of Global Technology Mining Conference and the Evaluation Center for Science and Technology of Georgia Institute of Technology, paid a visit to the Georgia Institute of Technology to attend the 7th Global Tech-mining Conference and the 2017 Atlanta Conference On Science and Innovation Policy. Wang Zhinan, a joint training doctoral student at the Georgia Institute of Technology in the United States, also took part in related academic activities. During the pre-conference period, Professor Wang Xuefeng and his party conducted pre-conference academic exchanges with participating experts and scholars from all over the world and conducted in-depth discussions on issues such as technology excavation, scientific measurement and evaluation of science and technology policies.
On October 9, graduate student Chen Yun, Wan Dong, Liao Qingyun and Zhang Jiao gave out keynote speeches respectively at the "Seventh Global Academic Conference on Mining Technology".
