February 21, 2012, in the afternoon, invited by Dean Professor Yi-Ming Wei, Professor Guoji Wei, Dean of City University of Hong Kong Business School, visited the School of Management and Economics and the Center for Energy and Environmental Policy Research, and gave an academic report entitled "Information System Research in the Asia-Pacific Region". The lecture was hosted by Dean Professor Yi-Ming Wei.
Professor Guoji Wei introduced the status of information systems research in Asia-Pacific region. Taking an example of e-commerce in China, Professor Wei summarized the features of implementation and utilization of information systems in the Asia-Pacific region as compared to the Europe, the United States and other Western countries. He also gave directions on information systems research methods and students trainings.
