On October 25,2019, Mr. Wang Zhicong, Vice-President of the Intel China Marketing Group, Visiting Professor of the School of Management and Economics, was invited to hold an exchange discussion with the MBA students. The event is hosted by associate professor Huang Lu.
Mr. Wang talked about career planning before graduation, the post-graduation work experience, the Hong Kong University of Technology MBA application and the course of study, and his career in Intel for 18 years. his openness and vividness lit up the round table discussion.
MBA students then made a presentation on their respective situation, and Mr. Wang summarized some of the common problems, and earnestly answered all the questions, such as the changes in the career after the MBA; the career development in the the state-owned enterprises, the foreign enterprises and the government departments; How to choose work location of hometown or Beijing, and so on.
In the free exchange, Mr. Wang's comments on China's future development, the cognition and prospect of 5G, and how the students should take the opportunity to make a career in the 5G era.
