December 7-8, 2012, Professor Zhu Shiwu, Tsinghua University, carried out a two-day training on the SAS software and financial calculations at room 214 in the main building. Associate Dean Professor Wang Zhaohua hosted the lecture. Teachers and students from each department of the School participated in the learning. The venue was packed.
Professor Zhu Shiwu demonstrated SAS software programming and financial computing technology on a Royce (RESSET) database platform. He cited a large number of cases to show the use of the software in data processing, and also explained the database SQL language. Students found the two-day’s training efficient and productive.
