On December 3,2019, the Second High-end Economics Forum was held in the main building lecture hal1 33l. The Forum is sponsored by the School of Management and Economics and hosted by the Apartment of Applied Economics. Professor Li Tong, Professor of Economics Department, Vanderbilt University, visiting professor of Beijing Institute of Technology, winner of "Sun Ye Fang Economic Science Award ", specially appointed professor of" Changjiang Scholar ", Ministry of Education, Chen Shiyi of Fudan University, winner of "China Young Economist Award ", special professor of" Changjiang Scholar ", Lu Yi of Tsinghua University attended the forum and gave a keynote speech. The Forum was presided over by Vice Dean Yan Zhijun of the School of Management and Economics. Dean Wang Zhaohua delivered his opening speech.
This forum aims to strengthen academic exchanges, stimulate scientific research inspiration, and promote the development of economics.
Professor Li Tong introduced a three-step auction model based on the model of asymmetric APV, which shows that weak companies are more aggressive in bidding. Professor Chen Shiyi considered the impact of china's policy on environmental protection, and the results show that china's distributed decentralization has negative externalities to environmental protection. Professor Lu Yi found that when China joined the WTO, it also reduced the proportion of VAT rebates while lowering tariffs.
In addition, associate professor Lv Xin, associate professor Cai Jinyang and Dr. Cao Yunfei of the School of Management and Economics also reported their own research work, and the experts at the meeting gave pertinent comments. Finally, Professor Li Tong, Professor Chen Shiyi and Professor Lu Yi answered questions for teachers and students on study, work and scientific research.
