On the morning of January 17,2020, the Beijing Institute of Technology School of Management and Economics held a conference on the theme of "Remain true to our original aspiration and keep our mission firmly in mind". Li zhenjiang and li hua, members of the fifth tour guidance group of the university, attended the meeting, Members of the school party committee, members of the leadership, the secretary of the party branch of the teaching staff and students, and representatives of party members attended the meeting. Yan Zhijun, secretary of the school party committee, made a summary report. From the five "tightness", he summed up the practice and effectiveness of the school of management and economics’ theme education: first, tightly follow the spirit of the university, ensure standards and pragmatic effectiveness; second, tightly adhere to the main theme, adhere to deep learning and understanding; third, tightly adhere to pragmatic and approachable; fourth, tightly grasp the problem, adhere to deep investigation, self-revolution; fifth, tightly adhere to the rectification, real change. Through the further development of thematic education, the School has achieved the results of periodic rectification and reform, and also more deeply realized that thematic education is a vivid practice of deepening the Party's self-revolution and promoting the comprehensive and strict governance of the Party, which has great practical and historical significance. To carry out the party's initial mission and implement the practice of running a world-class university with Chinese characteristics in the new era, we shall persist in "cultivating talents for the party and educating people for the country" and to make new achievements in the development of the School.
