On the afternoon of September 8, on the occasion of the Teachers' Day and the Mid-Autumn Festival, which coincides with the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Beijing Institute of Technology and the 40th anniversary of the School of Management and Economics, Professor Wang Zhaohua, Dean of the School of Management and Economics, Professor Yan Zhijun, Party Secretary, and Director of the Office, Mr. Hao Jianhua, visited the retired teachers of the School of Management and Economics: Professor Jiang Wenbing, former head of the Department of Management and Engineering, Professor Hong Baohua, Professor Fang Jiazhou, Professor Lang Zhizheng, former State Council Counsellor, Professor Han Botang, Professor of National Teaching, Professor Li Jinlin, Director of the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences. On behalf of all the teachers and students of the college, they extended holiday greetings and sincere greetings to the six senior professors.
In the visit, the school leaders talked cordially with six professors and briefly reported on the achievements and progress made in the last year, in particular, during the period of prevention and control of the epidemic situation of COVID-19.The retired professors shared the hard years of the School, encouraged us to combine scientific research results with the needs of the national development strategy, and build a healthy body in busy work.
School leaders are very concerned about the health of the senior professors. Dean Wang Zhaohua said on the 80th anniversary of the school, the school also ushered in the 40th anniversary, and the school will hold a series of celebrations.
