March 26, 2016, in the afternoon, Professor Zhang Junyi, Hiroshima University was invited to visit our school and gave an academic report entitled "Life-oriented Approach for Urban Policy". Professor Wei Yiming, Director of the Centre, Professor Tang Baojun, deputy director of the Center, and a number of teachers and students attended the meeting. The report was hosted by Associate Professor Yu BiYing.
Professor Zhang Junyi’s main research areas include transportation planning and management, urban and regional planning, environment and energy policy, tourism policy and management.
In this report, Professor Zhang introduced in great details the Urban Life-oriented Behavioral Science from multiple angles of integrated transport survey, travel behavior, living behavior, and young people mobile. Combined with China's new urbanization policy, he also introduced urban behavior survy the team has conducted in Dalian, Guiyang , Chongqing and other cities.
