Two professors from Chung Yuan Christian University, Taiwan, have just drawn their scheduled visit to SME to a satisfying end.
Dr. Lin Shimo is a renowned expert on business forecasting, economic forecasting and econometrics, and Dr. Wu Boqin is a scholar of international trade. Both are faculty members of the College of Business, CYCU.
During their visit to SME, an agreement was reached on academic cooperations and exchanges between the two parties, and a plan drafted to found a research center on mainland-Taiwan trade endeavor and currency rate.
CYCU is a university located in northwestern Taiwan, currently consisted of 7 colleges: of Science, of Engineering, of Business, of Design, of Humanities and Education, of Electrical Engineering & Computer Science, and of Law; to include 27 departments and 25 research institutes in all. Her College of Business was founded in 1970, now containing 5 departments, 5 institutes, 2 Ph.D. programs and a student body of nearly 4,000.
