At invitations from Prof. Henry Rowen of Graduate School of Business, Stanford University and Prof. Henry Chesbrough, Haas School of Business, University of California, Berkeley, SME Professor Liu Yun, now a culture-exchange scholar to Georgia Institute of Technology visited the two top institutions of business studies.
Prof. Rowan is a renowned expert on S&T policy and management, ex-president of Rand Corp, and previous deputy director of Office of Management and Budget, USA. Prof. Chesbrough is executive director of the Center for Open Innovation at Haas to do researches on his own brainchild -- open innovation. Both are interested in strengthening America-Sino academic cooperation, and held in-depth discussions with Prof. Liu on this issue.
Prof. Liu also paid visits to a few other academicians in the two schools in passing.
