July 1 morning saw a ceremony for SME’s graduates of 2010 formally held in the Auditorium Hall. Together with all 2006 students were officers on both school and department levels, faculty representatives and family members of some students.
Dr. Wei Yiming stood in front of the podium, congratulating as SME Dean the students on their success to complete schooling. To express their appreciation for the efforts given to them, students present carnations to their teachers, who, to return their passion, readjusted their mortarboard tassels as a gesture of satisfaction.
The ceremony drew a close with all participants singing in chorus the song An Ode to the Motherland.
