In the morning of September 4, Prof. Wang Shouqing talked to SME 08 engineering graduate students. The presentation is entitled "BOT/PFI/PPP Project Financing". Prof. Wang is the Chief of the National Engineering Project Management Graduate Education Partnership (125 Universities), Vice-President of International Project Management Institute and Department of Construction Management of Tsinghua University, and a Doctoral Tutor.
Project Financing (BOT / PFI / PPP) is becoming increasingly popular in financing large and medium projects on infrastructure, public utilities and exploitation of natural resources. Prof. Wang Shouqing, through real cases, explained the importance and the breadth of BOT / PFI / PPP applications at home and abroad. He then focused on the meaning, characteristics, advantages and disadvantages, scope, key risks and risk management.
