September 14, 2010, afternoon - Professor Liu Xiaohui from the Business School of Loughborough University, UK, visited SME and gave a lecture entitled "Human Mobility and International Knowledge Spillovers: Evidence from High-tech Small and Medium Enterprises in China ". Professor Xia Enjun chaired the lecture.
Professor Liu described in detail his research including background, data collection and research assumptions. The research analyzes sample data on entrepreneurs returning from overseas of small and medium enterprises in Zhongguancun, and come to innovative conclusions. Attending teachers and students actively asked questions, and had in-depth discussion and exchanges with the lecturer.
Throughout the lecture, Professor Liu also gave guidance on how to publish papers on international quality journals. Professor Liu's rigorous research attitude and humorous style of the lecture won unanimous praise from attendees.
