January 27, 2016, in th emorning, Professor Zhang Cun Ping from Taiwan's Shih Chien University Marketing Management Department was invited to visit Beijing Institute of Technology Research Center for Energy and Environmental Policy, and made a presentation entitled "Environmental Performance, Corruption, and Economic Growth: Global Evidence Using a New Dataset". Associate Professor Hao Yu chaired the report. A number of teachers and students from the CEEP attended the lecture.
Professor Zhang CunPing currently teaches at the Department of Marketing Management in Shih Chien University of Taiwan. The main research directions are energy economy, econometrics, industrial economics, public economics and political economy. This presentation highlighted his research collaboration with Associate Professor Hao Yu:"Environmental Performance, Corruption, and Economic Growth: Global Evidence Using a New Dataset".
The research used country-specific data to conduct a in-depth analysis on the relationship between environmental performance, the political environment and economic growth.
