On September 13-16, 2016, Prof. Wang Xuefeng, Associate Professor Huang Lu and Doctoral candidate Huang Ying, graduate student Lv Qi and Wang Kangrui of the Knowledge Management and Data Analysis Laboratory were invited by the Technology Mining Alliance and the European Network and Indicators Design Association to attend the 6th Global TechMining Conference and the 21st International Conference on Science and Technology Indicators at Valencia Polytechnic University, Spain. During the conference, Professor Wang Xuefeng and Associate Professor Huang Lu, the Delft University of Technology of the Netherlands and Valencia Polytechnic University of Spain held consultations on furthering the tripartite cooperation. The parties expressed their ideas and measures for the establishment of a joint laboratory, and had in-depth discussion on the exchange of students, academic cooperation and the construction of a laboratory base.
