On December 8, 2016, Professor Gao Ziyou of Beijing Jiaotong University was invited to visit the School of Management and Economics, and gave a lecture entitled "Research on Future Urban Traffic Management". A number of teachers and students from the School of Economics and Management attended the meeting. The lecture was hosted by Prof. Wei Yiming, Dean of the School of Economics and Management.
This report, from the economic and social development needs, combined with the latest research directions in the United States, Europe and Asia, pointed out that the future transportation systems will be developed to pure electric vehicles, automatic driving technology, and a new format of smart car network sharing economy + sharing traffic.
