On the afternoon of March 3, 2017, Professor Ming K. Lim (Professor Lin Mingjin) of the University of Coventry, UK, gave an academic report entitled "Achieving true sustainability in supply chain management" in the conference room 216 of the main building. Professor Tsang Minglang from Longhua University of Technology,Taiwan, along with a number of teachers and students from our school attended the report. The report was hosted by Professor Zhang Xiang.
In the report, Professor Lin first introduced the definition of sustainability and its development process, and pointed out the importance of sustainable development of enterprises in the current environment. Professor Lin explained how supply chain management and research included three dimensions of sustainability, namely, economy, environment and society.
