On the afternoon of March 8, 2017, Meng Bo, a senior researcher at the Japan Institute of Asian Economics, was invited to visit and present an academic report entitled "A New Perspective of Global Value Chain Research - Smile Curve, Topology Network and Environmental Factors". A number of teachers and students from the CEEP attended the report. The report was hosted by Dr. Zhang Bin.
Researcher Meng Bo is now a member of the OECD Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation Organization Value Added Trade (TiVA) Research Expert Group, Visiting researcher of Tsinghua University and Fudan University.
