The seminar on construction of all-English teaching programs of Beijing Institute of Technology was held on January 10,2022 in conference room 317 in the main building. Yin Li, vice director of the office of academic affairs, zhang jianguo vice dean of School of Mechanical and Electronics. Si Liming, Vice dean of the School of Integrated Circuit, Yang Kai, Vice dean of the School of Information and Electronics, Yang Yi, Vice dean of the School of Automation, Yan Zhijun, Party Secretary of the School of Management and Economics, and Zhang Xiang, Vice dean of the School, six English teaching professors, and the relevant responsible staff attended the meeting in the form of online and offline.
The meeting was presided over by Zhang Xiang, vice dean of the School of Management and Economics.Vice director Yin Li first introduced the seminar background, emphasize in the new social development situation, our school English teaching programs construction and talent training to actively adapt to the external environment change, focusing on program characteristics, explore new development path, and put forward preliminary ideas on English teaching dual degree training mode, "sandwich" course construction, cooperation to promote the the depth of research on all-English teaching program construction and talent training reform.
The school leaders, responsible professors and program leaders had heated discussions and exchanges on the topics such as English teaching dual degree programs, major reform, curriculum system design, "sandwich" course construction and so on.
