The importance of case work to the management school is self-evident.In order to further consolidate the achievements made in the development of management case of our department, increase the support for high-level case development, application and teaching, and further improve the quantity and quality of the management case achievement output of our development.The college has launched a series of measures: introduced high-level case development and application and cultivation plan; compiled China Localization Management Case Study (100 excellent albums); and invited well-known case experts at home and abroad to lecture or share online from time to time.
On the afternoon of April 8,2021, Professor Wang Shujuan, professor of Dalian University of Technology and deputy director of China Management Case Sharing Center, shared the experience in case development and writing with teachers and students through Tencent Conference, and introduced the policy revision of 100 excellent cases in detail.
Professor Wang Shujuan first shared the origin and development process of management case teaching in China, and then introduced the construction of 100 excellent case database, the selection of 100 excellent cases, and the adjustment of relevant policies of 100 excellent cases this year.Finally, based on his rich experience in management case writing and research, Wang shared on how to develop an excellent management case.Combined with the classic cases in excellent case library, she vividly and intuitively shows the novel topic selection, rigorous logic and the ups and downs of case stories of excellent cases.Professor Wang's wonderful sharing has let all the online teachers and students online harvest full.
Through Professor Wang's comprehensive and detailed introduction, everyone has a more in-depth understanding of the submissions of the National Top 100 Excellent Contributions, as well as the continuous hard work and fruitful results of the college in management case development, application and teaching over the years. As of 2020, the faculty of the college has won a total of 25 "National Hundred Excellent Management Cases", including one of the top 100 key cases, ranking 10th among 147 universities in the country that have obtained the top 100 cases. This year, the case study center of the college carried out advance layout and mobilization for the development and application of National Hundred Excellent Management Cases, and the teachers are also very enthusiastic to participate. All faculty members of the college are willing and looking forward to explore new management knowledge, develop excellent management practices, and promote the development of Chinese management disciplines with colleagues at home and abroad.
