主講人簡介：
Professor Boo received his BS in Mining & Petroleum Engineering at Seoul National University in 1979. He proceeded to obtain his MBA in International Business at the same university in 1983. Dr. Boo’s Ph.D. studies were done at the University of Delaware, US, in Public Economics and Policy. He authored and co-authored numerous research papers and reports, conducting key national projects on the themes of energy, economy and the environment such as green growth, green energy technology/industry with main focus on new & renewable energies.
內容簡介：
Towards the end of 2013, Korea launched “The 2nd Energy Basic Plan,” which is the highest legal plan in energy sector with a timeframe of over 20 years up to 2035. It is an integrated energy plan of a holistic perspective to coordinate other energy plans in a systematic approach. The total primary energy demand is projected to grow at an annual average rate of 1.3% between 2011 and 2035. Final energy demand will grow at a slower pace: 0.9 % per year. Energy intensity is expected to drop from 0.255 in 2011 to 0.180 in 2035 with an improvement of 1.4% per year, resulting in 30% improvement of energy intensity which is equivalent to 13.3% reduction in the final energy consumption. The government proposes six major policy agenda as follows: 1) shift to energy management-oriented policy; 2) Building a Power Generation System based on Distributed Generations (DGs); 3) Pursuit of Harmonization between the Environment and Safety; 4) Pursuit of Harmonization between the Environment and Safety; 5) Building a Stable Energy Supply by Source; and 6) Pursuing of Energy Policy along with People.
